A Room of One's Own is delighted to help WisCon, the world's finest feminist science fiction convention, kick off their 39th convention with a reception and reading by this year's Guests of Honor, Alaya Dawn Johnson and Kim Stanley Robinson. This event is free and open to the public--all other local appearances by the Guests will happen at WisCon; see www.wiscon.info to register.

The reception: beginning at 5:00pm, the reception features food, beverages, and delightful conversation as feminist science fiction fans take a chance to chat with one another and find seats before the main event.

The reading: starting at 6:00pm, the reading will feature both WisCon Guests of Honor, Alaya Dawn Johnson and Kim Stanley Robinson.
