UFC welcomes Kim Stanley Robinson to our Speaker Series. Recognized internationally for his thought-provoking science fiction, or “climate fiction,” Mr. Robinson explores future worlds impacted by dramatic climate change. A winner of the two most prestigious science fiction prizes, the Hugo and Nebula awards, Mr. Robinson is the author of more than 20 books and numerous essays and articles. He has been cited by critics as our “greatest political novelist” and a must-read author, who writes compellingly about our current and future environmental problems. Please join us to hear Mr. Robinson discuss his work, his vision and, yes, the role of COVID-19 within this new world.
